Leicester is a wondeful place to live we are very lucky. The abiding
snapshot I will take away is the pretty Indian dancers in the
performance arena, watched by Morris dancers in full make-up and
ragged clothes with a Viking in all his regalia in the background!

Thank
you for your message and to all of you who work so hard to make the
Spring Equinox Fayre the entertaining day it always is.
This
year was disappointing regarding interest and sales and while I
appreciate the necessity of the timing and venue, I think the area
around the college having many Asian and Indian families had some
effect as the older generations of these families certainly did not
understand our stand and were not interested to find out more. I
don't know if others feel the same. We normally do well and I wonder
how the people in the classrooms did as while it could not be avoided
in a college, and I did appreciate being inside at that time of year,
the Fayre was very broken up and this may have affected the lack of
visitors.
I hope you are able to hold the Fayre in the future
and wish you all well.

Firstly,
thank you for inviting us (Bakanalia and the Maypole team) to take part.
Having
taken part in innumerable fetes, galas etc I can only say that
this was one of the best organised I have ever attended. Of course
there were gliches on the day but the mark of good organisation is to
be flexible enough to accommodate this and that was true here. I felt
it made for a structured but comfortable environment and I would be
happy to attend in future. It certainly seemed more varied but also
more focused than previous years.
My
congratulations to all the committee who I know must have put in
immense efforts to 'pull it all together'.

I think the day was great, you had good weather and everybody I showed
